Director of The Creativity Conference and founder of The Creative Community, Maxim is a consultant futurist, filmmaker, author, and public speaker. Maxim has authored over 30 media technology books and video courses, including the best-selling Adobe Premiere Pro Classroom in a Book. He has trained many creative and technology innovators to excel in their field, while also directing two feature films and over 30 short films, winning awards as a director and screenwriter. As a life-long student of philosophy, Maxim blends his coaching, corporate experience and quintessentially British gentlemanly humour to present, discuss or solve complex challenges and act as an enabler for anyone with a curious learning disposition. Maxim’s interest is in the principles that are the meeting point for life's multiple disciplines, where function, design, group purpose, architecture and social change meet and blend. Current major projects include a PhD in Metaphysics on The Nature of Being, 'Orpheus Rising' - a new feature film project based on an award winning script that integrates games design into the full production process, 'Jolie's Garden' - a new feature film project incorporating 4K, XR, and live audience immersive theatre, and a consultancy service to enable individuals, groups and organisations to obtain clarity and plan ahead effectively. Maxim is currently supporting start-ups and presenting keynotes around the world exploring creative technology and future socio-economic paradigms.
