I don't want to work in industry; I want to work on it! Currently, I work in Metaverse and Experience Strategy at PwC in the Experience Center and Customer Experience/Transformation Practice. I help lead all metaverse-related proposition/product and campaign development, including essential coordination, planning and tracking client engagements, and broader strategizing, training and delivering client pitches and proposals. I am incredibly passionate about the intersection between ''traditional'' advertising and web3, experiential activations, and immersive media, dedicating my entire career to understanding the convergence of digital <> physical and what drives audience engagement: - Earned a graduate degree in advertising, specializing in emerging tech and copywriting - Led strategy for companies that produced social media, short-form digital content, and traditional advertising campaigns to XR, immersive, and metaverse-driven activations. – Panelist/speaker at global conferences and internal L&D sessions about brand integration in the metaverse, web3, and virtual beings. I previously led strategy for Offbeat, a digital and metaverse media agency that builds creative campaigns for major brands worldwide and owns virtualhumans.org. In my role, I consulted with brands (Samsung, Cheesecake Factory, Captain Morgan, and Formula E) on entering the metaverse with digital content, AR filters, social media, virtual human partnerships, e-commerce livestreams, and NFT/POAP creation. Additionally, I helped launch our first virtual being (Zero), his virtual community, and his upcoming (pending) NFT collection. I graduated with a Master's in Advertising from the University of Texas at Austin, focusing on creative strategy, entertainment, experience design, immersive technologies, and copywriting. As a student (now Industry Fellow), I was (and still am) highly involved in the Texas Immersive Institute. We receive the most up-to-date metaverse technology (Meta Quest, Snapchat Spectacles, Magic Leap, etc.) to playtest and prototype. I was the Creative Director for BLU: Your Asthma Friend, a virtual being/AI mobile app created to educate adolescents on how to control their asthma. I led immersive strategy and client relations to kick off various XR projects at Buzznog, an entertainment technology company that builds integrated XR experiences for music festivals, artists, and livestreams such as: Rolling Loud, Knitting Factory, and The Emmy Awards. I helped implement POAPs and launch the ''Emerge/Evolve'' project. I still serve as an immersive advisor to the company.
