After completing a BsocSci in Philosophy and Political Studies at UCT, I began a career in radio broadcasting. I was an on-air host on Heart FM, Taste FM and Smile FM over a period of 8 years collectively. As a Freelancer, I've worked in the following roles - MC, voice over artist, public speaker, artist manager, events coordinator, au pair, producer on a film set, 2AD on a film set and an active Kinesiologist, In 2018 I moved to Johannesburg to ''pivot my career'' from radio into tech. I've worked in various domains such as FashionTech, PropTech, HRTech and EduTech. Over the last five years, I've gained experience in sales, marketing, customer success, change management, project management and events. My Gallup Signature Strengths are: Activator, Belief, Developer, Futuristic, Input, Learner, Positivity, Relator, Responsibility and Restorative. My enneagram is 6 - loyal sceptic. In my personal time I am an ambassador for the Justice Desk advocating for Human Rights and a Director at the Ruben Richards Foundation advocating for restoration and healing. My highest values include no excuses ownership, psychology safety, wholehearted living ( as defined by Brene Brown) and being soft on people while being hard on issues. My failures are many. I’m committed to integrating and applying the lessons from them and never giving up on my ability to grow and move forward. I believe our best days are ahead!
