Experienced researcher with a passion for machine learning and NLP. I leverage my research skills to bridge the gap between machine learning academia and industry, making the newly possible practical. While advances in ML have produced amazing results, the complexity of these solutions can still be prohibitive. For this reason, I am still a firm believer that in many cases, the simplest solution is best (or at least the best place to start). A deep understanding of the problem and the big picture allows one to know when to move from the simple to the advanced.
