Bio

I studied Linguistics (Semantics and Lexicography) at Université de Montréal. My first language is Canadian French, and I am fluent in both French and English. I have been working as a linguistic consultant in NLP for 16 years (NLU for Text-to-Scene, Dialogue systems, Chatbots, Lexicography, Text Mining, Tone detection, Text-to-Speech, and Voice Recognition). I coordinated an international teams of transcribers and rater, and I led data collection projects. I am a problem solver and have the capacity of seeing a project from a global perspective, and to take into account the links between different teams or components implicated in a particular process. I am a very positive person who enjoys working with people. In many of my previous contracts, I was naturally positioned as a bridge between the linguistic and the engineering teams. I value high-quality work, I am always trying to improve the efficiency of workflows, and to ensure proper documentation of processes.
