Senior manager and policy advisor with 10 years of experience shaping carbon reduction strategies, with expertise in government relations, policy, finance, research, and engineering. I am driven by deep intellectual curiosity and a vision of a better world. At Smartenergy, I am a senior manager committed to accelerate the deployment of our renewable energy and hydrogen projects. Policy is a force multiplier for climate action. At SolarPower Europe, I worked as a senior policy advisor helping European policymakers take bold decisions to accelerate renewable energy deployment and make Europe increasingly independent from fossil fuel imports. I provided technical and policy advice to advance the energy and economic objectives of corporations and the public sector. Also, I led projects at the Climate Policy Group at ETH Zurich and the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) of the US on strategies to increase the rate of investment into clean energy in countries at different stages of development. I earned a PhD in Climate Policy from ETH Zurich, I am certified in Climate and Renewable Energy Finance by Frankfurt School of Finance and Management, I received executive education in Business Management from ESADE Business & Law School, and hold a Double Degree MSc in Renewable Energy, specialising in Energy Innovation and Energy Engineering. I have lived in eight countries, learned four languages on top of my two native ones. Greatly enjoy mentoring others, giving back and sharing my knowledge. This is, for me, one of the most rewarding endeavours in life! Core competencies: program management, stakeholder management, energy policy and regulation, energy market analysis, energy system modelling, quantitative analytics, public speaking, and work within a dynamic, high-pace and entrepreneurial environment.
