With over 15 years of experience in both group and individual counselling/psychotherapy combined with leadership and project management experience through over 25 years with the Canadian Armed Forces, a unique offering of services is able to be provided to clients in order to help improve their lives through education, coaching or counselling. Focusing practice in Trauma, Career, Couples, LGBTQ2+, and Life Transition issues along with team building/development as a Registered Psychologist based on my MA in Counselling Psychology. A unique program, custom made to help clients reach their goals is what I offer through the services of Juvenation Wellness in Duncan and Victoria, BC. I have additional training to help clients manage and deal with trauma, and learn how to re-integrate into their everyday lives. In addition, with specialized training in career counselling, development and transitions, I help clients both explore what is the best career for them and help them achieve success in that application through education and training in how to realize, find and be accepted into that field. As an educator, with a PhD from the Centre for Cross Faculty Inquiry in Education with focus in Counselling (PhD is not recognized by the College of Psychologists of AB and BC as a doctoral degree in Psychology), I have worked with Yorkville University as an Associate Instructor in their Masters of Arts in Counselling Psychology and General Studies courses, an instructor at Life Strategies Inc for their Career Management Professional Program, a Sessional Instructor at University of Victoria in their Masters of Counselling Psychology program, and Adjunct Professor at UBC in their Counselling Psychology Program.
