As an LA-based photographer and video artist, I spent years creating DIY projects that incorporated a wide range of mediums, including musical performances, storytelling, comedy, and animation, all within the thriving art scene of Los Angeles. Since pivoting to the podcasting industry in 2019, I have focused on producing and managing high-quality content through my company, Newman Media. Our first production, ''Deep Healing with Greg Barris,'' is an experimental comedy podcast with fully sound-designed episodes that launched in August 2022. With years of experience editing audio, I have honed my skills in finding the right interview subjects to tell a compelling story and creating immersive soundscapes that transport listeners into new worlds. I currently co-host, write, and edit ''Scary Mystery Surprise,'' a supernatural comedy podcast for the Scary FM & Sonoro networks. My work has been recognized by industry professionals as a finalist & winner in the ''weird'' category of the first annual Signal Awards for ''Deep Healing with Greg Barris.'' I am committed to delivering innovative and engaging content to audiences worldwide through my passion for podcasting.
