I'm currently the Product Manager at OmniSci, having previously led the Spatial Data Science practice in Professional Services. I also serve part-time as Chief Science Officer of Tesselo, LLC, a Lisbon-based satellite image analysis startup. I have spent the last 20 years working in spatial environmental planning. Prior to OmniSci, I founded Geodesign Technolgoies, Inc and GeoAdaptive LLC, two startups applying spatial analysis technologies to planning. Before startup life, I was a professor of planning at MIT and Industry Manager at ESRI. My main professional goal is to develop spatial tools leveraging geoML to incorporate historic, current and modeled future scenario information. These can be applied across many domains, ultimately to bring the benefits of sustainable environmental planning to a much wider global audience.
