Africa Specialty Risks was formed in 2020 to provide local and international businesses investing and trading in Africa access to the full range of insurance and risk mitigation tools on the market. Our holistic approach to risk cover also gives banks, debt and equity investors the confidence to lend to projects and business ventures in the region. Our philosophy is not to wait for business to come to us in the underwriting box in London. We instead take a proactive approach – finding and working with clients on the ground in Africa, in order to understand their specific needs and provide solutions. We have already seen Africa make great progress. By helping local economies to grow, local infrastructure can improve and business can flourish. Working hand-in-glove with our clients – offering them proper risk management tools, insurance cover and a chance to make their business more sustainable – we can look forward to further growth.
