Mr. Miretab Tesfaye is a senior aviation digital and business transformation leader, who had been at the center of Ethiopian Airlines digital transformation for over a decade. He led various successful digital transformation programs that enhanced the airline’s operational excellence and customer experience. He formulated technology strategies,established agile organizational structure, created winning in-house technology and business team, invested on emerging technologies and installed innovation culture . He has received recognition for his achievements Such as MIPAD – Most Influential People of African Descent - Under 40 Award in New York. He also won national competition organized by Ethiopian National science and technology Ministry. He has showcased the airline’s digital transformation success stories in different stages such as Sabre Annual Conference in US, Sabre IX Conference in Spain, SAP Africa in Kenya, Aviation Festival Asia in Singapore, AFRAA and AviaDev Africa. In addition, the Mobile App and Cloud implementation success story was featured by Microsoft.
