Mohammad Hans Dastmaltchi is a German banker and serial entrepreneur, with a proven track record of over 20 years in Investment Banking, Asset Management and Financial Services, during which time he has been involved in more than 80 private equity transactions. At the age of 17, he co-founded a fully regulated bank in Germany, which subsequently was listed successfully on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, making him the youngest co-founder of a Bank in Germany. Driven by his passion for innovation and strong belief in the future of the Banking Industry, Mr. Dastmaltchi often looks beyond traditional boundaries to discover new investment opportunities, particularly in Financial Technology companies (FinTech). He is a seed investor in Kreditech, one of Germany's largest FinTechs, and has also invested in many start-ups, including ATAI Life Sciences AG, a clinical-stage biotech company valued at over 2.3 billion after a successful IPO in 2021. Today, Mohammad Hans Dastmaltchi is one of the most active and experienced investors in the financial sector of Europe and runs his own family office and merchant banking business, Pamedo Investments Group Ltd, a venture capital based in the heart of the International Financial Centre in Dubai. Geographically, he focuses on Germany and the Middle East, but across a wide variety of sectors and industries, including multiple areas of financial services, internet and technology, life science, entertainment and the cutting-edge crypto and blockchain universe. In addition to his businesses and interest in the financial industry, Mohammad Hans Dastmaltchi places great value on social, political and societal commitments and has been involved in various organizations, such as World Economic Forum, YPO and a360 Abundance. He is the co-founder and a trustee of the Global Citizen Foundation, an organization that operates in over 70+ countries and focuses on education, education policy and the next generation of leaders worldwide.
