Mollie is a senior leader in the commercial real estate industry with significant experience in real estate, private equity and real estate/construction technology. She’s recognized as a thought leader with expertise and experience with institutional investors across multiple property types and companies representing over $10b. She’s the Chief Financial and Investment officer at JPI, a developer, builder and investment manager of Class A multifamily assets with a 30-year history having developed over 100,000 units. She is also Co-Founder and a Partner of Cephas Partners, a private equity firm specializing in alternative investments with a focus on real estate related opportunities - formed in 2012 to assist affiliates of The Blackstone Group. In her work with Blackstone, Mollie managed investments, co-invested and acted as a board and IC member. Prior to Cephas Partners, Mollie was a VP at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in the Real Estate Principal Investments group in New York. She also served as an analyst in the Real Estate Group at UBS Investment Bank -- also in New York. Mollie is a board member of Urban Housing Ventures, a fund bringing an innovative financing structure to the affordable housing space, Pallet Shelter, a social purpose corporation serving transitional shelter needs to the homeless and those impacted by natural disasters, and Green Canopy, an impact real estate development, fund management, and homebuilding company focused on sustainably. What’s more, Mollie is an advisory board member for the Runstad Department of Real Estate at the University of Washington. She previously served on the CREW Network Board, supporting over 11k women in commercial real estate (and was the 2018 President of CREW Seattle). In addition to broad industry recognition (including Seattle’s 40 under 40, the NAIOP’s National Development Leader Award as well as being named a BisNow Seattle Power Woman and AEC Innovator), past experiences include investment and advisory work for a multitude of companies bringing new technologies to the real estate and construction industries. From 2019-2020, Mollie served on the Executive Team at Katerra as Head of Affordable Housing and as the Chief Financial Officer. Mollie is a graduate of Harvard University where she earned an Honors Degree in History and Science (biochemistry). While at Harvard, Mollie garnered a spot on the rowing team (as a walk-on) achieving NCAA Division I, All-American, All-New England and All-Ivy honors.
