After graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Health, I worked as Industrial Hygienist since 2014 with the corporate Environmental Protection (EP) organization at Aramco. In 2020, my management offered me an opportunity to join a new program, called Green Energy Program (GEP) with a mission to enhance the Company’s efforts towards Decarbonization, Sustainability, and Circular Carbon Economy (CCE). I understand that energy and materials demand will undoubtedly rise as societies will continue to pursue economic growth and better quality of life. Consequently, there will be a huge stress on earth resources if no actions were taken. As I am a person who wants to make a difference, I have decided to join the program. As part of GEP, we have been working to reduce the company’s overall carbon footprint through the implementation of nature-based solutions (NBS). Our team has made several successful stories and achieved remarkable milestones. I am very proud to be part of such team. As I thrive to continue making a positive impact, I am doing my best to improve my knowledge and shape my professional skills. This will help me to meet my career goals and be an effective member for my company and my country.
