An experienced Director holding various senior positions over the last 20 years. My company Housing Insight delivers Mobile Working, Customer Self-service and Business Consultancy solutions to the Housing and Local Government sectors. My previous company Deeplake Ltd., which I co-founded in 2003, grew to a turnover of over £1m based on a market leading product I designed and developed for the Social Housing sector around SMS Communication. With my help, Deeplake Ltd. also become a Gold partner of an IP Telephony solution supplier called Swyx. I also co-founded VMS Ltd. to take SMS communication into the Car Dealerships sector and co-founded Byteflag Ltd. to offer technical support to the various group companies moving forward. Before setting up Deeplake Ltd. I had a successful career in support, development and delivery roles working for leading Consultancies/System Integrators. I created and managed a multi-million pound SAP Support and Development business for one of the leading Consultancies, now known as Atos. I developed a SAP Competence Centre/Centre of Excellence off-shore in Mumbai, India, and successfully delivered multi-million pound projects via the off-shore centre to clients such as ICI, Astra Zeneca, Hasbro, P&G, United Utilities, Vantico and Philip Morris. I have also managed third party relationships including those of off-shore suppliers and handled vendor selection and contract negotiations from both the customer and supplier side. Since my background is technical, I understand the full software development life-cycle and the key drivers that ensure project success. My skills have developed over many years and across many different platforms, Mainframes, Unix, Windows/NT and now Mobile (Android, iOS and Windows). I see my strengths as creating innovative software solutions, building and managing effective delivery teams, excellent customer liaison and delivering profit.
