My name is Nasr Cheaib, and I’m currently a problem-solver aka engineer at M.C. Dean. I graduated from Penn State University with a Masters of Science in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research. Originally, I come from a small town in Lebanon dubbed Ras Baalbek. The transition proved to be difficult, but I managed to find my foothold with a strong group of friends and a blossoming academic curiosity into the world of engineering. As a Dual Master of Science graduate in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research, I have gained expertise in improving operational efficiency, enhancing product quality, and optimize complex systems. With a strong background in simulation modeling, statistical analysis, and production scheduling, I possess the skills necessary to enhance production efficiency and quality. I have also achieved various certifications such as Professional Engineer in Industrial and Systems (pending), Certified Supply Chain Professional, and Six-Sigma Green Belt. My professional experience includes working as a Production Engineer at M.C. Dean, where I have improved on-time delivery and quality, presented a portfolio of capital investment projects, and developed data analytic tools. I have also served as a Teaching Assistant and Academic Assistant at the Pennsylvania State University and worked as an Industrial Engineer Intern at National Oilwell Varco.
