Bio

Natalie Chung (鍾芯豫) is a passionate environmentalist and social entrepreneur born and raised in Hong Kong. Inspired by a polar explorer since young, Natalie has devoted her life to climate action. At the age of 18, she co-founded social enterprise “V’air Hong Kong” to promote low-carbon local tourism as means to mitigate climate change. Her work has earned titles of The Japan Times Female Climate Activist of Asia 2021, Tatler Gen.T 2021, Eco-Business Youth A-List 2020 as an impactful sustainability leader in Asia Pacific. Natalie gained multinational exposure through working with the World Bank, World Economic Forum Global Shapers, UN SDSN, Kadoorie Conservation on missions spanning across Australia, Spain, China, the UK and the US. With substantial experience in climate education and sustainability assessment, Natalie was appointed by the Hong Kong Government as a member at the Council for Sustainable Development (2019-23) and Green Tech Fund Assessment Committee (2021-23). Natalie holds an MPhil in Environmental Change and Management (Distinction) at University of Oxford as the Esther Yewpick Lee Millennium Scholar, and a BSSc in Geography and Resource Management (First Class Honours) at The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
