Starting out at a desk doing sales for satellite news feed is something I never expected to do fresh out of university, this experience encouraged me to embark on career-long learning to understand the role technology is playing in supporting business change. Currently; I am the Chief Digital Officer for M1 Limited in helping shape the future of Digital Capabilities and broader Digital Transformation. We are formulating an innovative approach to building the digital vision by recognizing holistic practices - everyone should be treated equally. With more than 20 years of experience in the telecommunication industry, I have worked in a number of different positions from sales to marketing; and operations to technology. I have worked diversely in digital innovations and strategic leadership in the building of the modern digital vision. Through these roles, I have come to understand the balance needed in business evolution to achieve sustainable change and business success. With every objective, I have turned into an opportunity to demonstrate a positive journey and outcome. Some career highlights that have motivated me further include: -Led the development of a new digital platform end to end in less than three months with a complete cloud architecture -Initiated the largest change program to support the transformation in M1’s history across People Process and systems -Tasked with achieving +400Mln in annual benefits in revenue and business optimisation at Telstra. -Established a dual-speed approach at Telstra to assist in balancing short-term outcomes vs. long term sustainable transformation for the business through new ways of working and Zero-Based design approaches -Establishing a market-leading Managed Services Business in less than six months in Indonesia, starting from the basement of a hotel. -Leading KPNQwest to be a leading Internet Provider in less than two years. I have a tendency to focus on learning new things to keep challenging myself. With the insights I have gained, I continue to work with business leaders to drive digital outcomes for business across People, Process and Technology. I aspire to share my experiences with others to realise a positive impact in the world as we pivot from traditional to digital practices.
