AI/ML Scientist with around 13 years of experience in Industry, Academia and Research. Currently working at State Street as Research Scientist solving problems in Financial Domain. Also focusing on Research and Innovation as Coordinator of AI Research Group. Research Area: Financial Document Understanding and Processing: Summarization, Information Extraction, Answer Generation, Information Retrieval etc. Prior to that worked at Oracle as Senior Data Scientist primarily focusing on AI/ML efforts in Analytics Cloud. Worked as Research Intern at IBM India Pvt Ltd (Research Labs) in 2017. Got selected for the prestigious Govt of India's Masters' fellowship program and visited Heidelberg University, Germany, and worked with Prof. Andrezejak on code snippet extraction. Got the highest grade for my work and was selected for Ph. D position. I have done M.Tech(Computer Science and Engineering) from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Guwahati and hold the department rank 1 with a CGPA of 9.7/10. I was part of the Open Source Intelligence Group headed by Dr. S. Ranbir Singh. My thesis was 'A Study on Entity Role Detection' in attack events.
