Since March 2022, I have led Tessitura’s cyber security and internal IT teams. Tessitura is a mission-driven software and hosting company. We are a not-for-profit that empowers our 750+ members worldwide to excel in the business of arts and culture. Our community of members uses Tessitura to connect with their customers, to power their websites, to manage access to their spaces, and to make evidence-based business decisions. My job is to protect that community. Before joining Tessitura, I set the technology strategy for Sydney Opera House. As Chief Technology Officer, I ensured the smooth delivery of over 1,800 complex events for 10.9 million customers every year. The 40+ leaders and technical specialists in my team created intuitive, flexible technology experiences for the Opera House’s employees and customers. In over six years as CTO, I delivered major technology projects across many disciplines including cloud infrastructure, CRM, web development, low-latency networking, broadcast engineering, critical communications, information management, payment systems, high-density Wi-Fi, and cyber security. I built the Opera House’s first cyber security team and developed its ISMS. I hold a double master in security and intelligence studies from Macquarie University, a graduate certificate in cyber security from Griffith University, and a bachelor of security analysis from the Australian National University. For three years from early 2019, I served on the board of directors at Tessitura Network.
