Nicola Attico is a highly passionate and self-motivated individual who deeply believes in innovative technologies. He graduated cum laude in Physics from Scuola Normale Superiore, an excellence institution of higher education, and has significant post-graduate experience as a visiting scientist at MIT in Boston. With over 20 years of experience in IT and Enterprise Software, Nicola has worked for important multinational corporations. He possesses a deep technical understanding, strong business orientation, and analytical skills. He has a proven track record of managing complex proof of concepts, matching customer use cases to technology, and explaining the business case to decision-makers. He has developed a significant understanding of technical and business processes, blockchain and distributed ledgers, and platform-as-a-service. Nicola can manage cross-cultural teams with strong ethical values and a belief in collaboration and respect. He has excellent communication and public speaking skills and frequently organizes and holds customer events, user groups, and meet-ups. He is also a regular conference speaker, presenting technology's value to a broader audience. He has published several articles and other content in specialized magazines and online. Currently, Nicola works in the Vision & Innovation team at ServiceNow as a Blockchain/DLT Solution Engineer. He has followed the evolution of the enterprise blockchain space since the early days and likes to work at the intersection between business and technology. He has worked on the first ServiceNow and blockchain use cases and sits on the Hedera Council and Technical Committee. He has published several books on enterprise blockchain use cases, of which “Blockchain Ecosystem. Driving Mass Adoption” has been recently translated into English.
