Bio

I am a very lucky person that is in love with my work. Steven Jobs stated, “The only way to do good work is to love what you do.” I am part of the lucky few that does not count down the days until Friday every week. One of my mentors taught me a lot about having a passion for what I working for & toward. I learned a lot in the past 20 years in regards to people, problems, and passion which then led me to find my values, virtue, and victories. What motivates me? The year I turned 32, I wanted to discover the why and how of everything in my world. I also wanted to know what other worlds were out there that I didn’t know about. Now, I cannot learn enough. It has become a motivator to me; it’s one of the reasons that make me jump out of bed every day and want to do it again and again. Transportation has been a great industry for me to grow up in. I have had the privilege to work side by side with some fantastic people; customers and co-workers. I have been able to: truly learn the meaning of hustle. I have been able to: coach eager individuals and watched them grow. I have been able to: take a challenge and make it a win, win scenario for all parties involved. I have been able to: help customers keep their commitments to their customers (critical - expedites) I have been able to: deliver new products before anyone else knew of their existence. I have been able to: learn how to not run away from any issue but to tackle it straight on, no matter what. Transportation is one of those industries that once you step in and apply yourself; you can have a lot of fun and it’s no longer work. It’s solutions being traded back and forth, you just have to choose wisely on who you trade with. If you do it right; then you will be able to: conquer any business or industry.
