Thank you <<​ I am a specialist in operational technology cybersecurity and business risk with nearly 30 years’ experience in the industry. I am a well-recognized thought leader and subject matter expert capable of delivering complex projects across small, medium and large scale enterprises. I have in-depth knowledge of operational technology cybersecurity, information security, business risk, threat intelligence, cyber warfare, cyber terrorism, systems engineering, regulations, functional safety, security operations, SCADA and industrial control systems (and applying standards such as NIST, NISD, IEC 61508 and IEC 62443 across these domains.) I have written three books on database and development technologies and I am a regular speaker at international events and conferences. I am able to passionately bring my technical knowledge together with my practical experience of OT cybersecurity and business to help clients derive real business benefit. My work in operational technology cybersecurity also includes industrial automation, CNI, robotics, rail, maritime, smart cities, smart buildings, control systems, safety critical systems and applying regulatory standards across these domains to achieve safety and security objectives. I am a Chartered Engineer, Fellow of the Institution of Engineering and Technology and member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers. I contribute to the BSI Gel/09 committee developing the CENELEC TS 50701 cybersecurity standard for the rail industry. I have an MSc in Information Security from Royal Holloway, University of London where I was awarded the Royal Holloway University Smart Card Centre Crisp Telecom prize for my MSc research dissertation into mobile radio systems security and smartphones.
