Bio

Niklas Rindtorff is a physician-scientist and a founder of LabDAO, an online community of life scientists collaborating to increase the accessibility of life science tools both in the dry lab and wet lab. His prior research at the Broad Institute, the German Cancer Research Center, and the ETH Zurich was focused on improving treatment recommendations in precision oncology based on image-based profiling of compound effects in patient derived organoids. As a Fulbright scholar, he received a master's degree in biomedical informatics from Harvard Medical School in 2019. The title of his thesis under Jesse Boehm at the Broad Institute was: ''Living Biosensors: Predicting Drug Vulnerabilities from Living Tumor Samples by Single-Cell, Label-free imaging.
