Experienced, award-winning Data Science leader, currently heading the EMEA Data Science team at Domino Data Lab. Passionate about statistics, maths, building great technical products in the AI/DS domain, and increasing adoption and understanding of predictive techniques. Product owner of Domino Public Trial – our free MLOps offering, which provides scalable backend compute, GPU-accelerated machine learning, model operationalization, drift monitoring, on-demand distributed compute via Spark/Ray/Dask and more. Shaping and owning the product roadmap, responsible for product growth, demand generation, and product strategy. Working with key customers of the Domino MLOps platform, helping them increase the efficiency of their data science teams, streamline their internal data science processes, and improve their capabilities of managing data science at scale. Substantial experience in consulting, including scope definition, resource management, cost allocation, risk mitigation, and general project management. Recipient of numerous technical mastery awards like the Oracle ACE Award and the IBM Outstanding Technical Achievement Award. Additional activities include: • Regular speaker at the major DS/ML conferences (ODSC, Big Data Spain, Strata, Big Data London, ML Conf Berlin, NDSML etc.) • Co-author and co-presenter of the Advanced Machine Learning and Signal Processing course on Coursera, which has been taken by over 40,000 aspiring machine learning students so far • Presenter and organizer of the London Data Science and Machine Learning meetup • Host of the Data Leaders Executive Lounge - a community of impactful data leaders who gather monthly to discuss trends and important topics in the area of DS/ML • Running the Domino Data Science blog, a free resource for in-depth data science and machine learning practitioners, which scores over 15,000 article reads per month Specialties: Mathematics, Statistics, Machine Learning, Data Science, Big data (Apache Hadoop, Spark, Python, R, PyTorch, Tensorflow), MLOps (Kubernetes, GCP), Relational databases (Oracle Database, IBM DB2), Java.
