*For moderating, hosting, and speaking inquiries: nora@noraali.com* I've recently come to realize that this word encompasses what I stand for, and what has led me through each step of my career: ''access.'' I've been lucky enough to have had several very different jobs, which have all built on each other. From Wall Street, to tech & retail startup, to anchoring and creating television, now to building a media company from the ground up... I was always given a ''chance'' even if I didn't have the experience that would have been expected for a particular role. In other words, people who believed in me gave me access to new roles (in new industries!) and trusted that I'd learn how to do the job, *on* the job. I'm now a fierce advocate of providing access to others. Whether it's working with or hiring people who have non-traditional backgrounds, to educating others and myself in totally new fields, to — most importantly — elevating overlooked and underestimated voices. If you offer access to those who otherwise wouldn't have it, then you're automatically opening up a wealth of unique opportunities and stories. Access, Ingenuity, and Good Vibes.
