I specialize in launching global software products and leading complex initiatives. I have 10+ years of experience in the tech industry with a background in program management, product, and operations. I’m able to deliver great products by leveraging my superpowers in organization and structure while making my team feel appreciated and motivated. My natural love of psychology helps me act as a bridge for diverse stakeholders, gather various viewpoints, and create buy-in into a common vision that I can then push forward. I’m passionate about the intersection of technology and social impact, and was a founding member of a multinational tech company called Endless that makes computers for users with little or no internet access. By creating a product globalization strategy, I helped launch Endless OS in Latin America, Indonesia, and later on millions of laptops all around the world. I’m also the former President of the GNOME Foundation, a 20+ year old open source software organization that creates the world’s most popular Linux desktop. By focusing on creating a stronger brand and growing the organization into a more mature foundation, I was re-elected as President for three terms and led the foundation during a period of historic growth and 140% increase in revenue. I’m based in the San Francisco Bay Area and am always happy to connect with new people. I often speak at conferences, and have given several international keynote speeches. I'm open to mentoring people, especially if they're interested in open source! Podemos hablar en español si gustas :)
