Omid Sadeghi holds a BSc. in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA in Strategy & Innovation from Schulich School of Business (Canada) and ESADE Business School (Spain). As a leader in product innovation & a serial entrepreneur, he has contributed to over $100 million in technology commercialization projects over the past 15 years. (especially in the shipbuilding and automotive industry) As a micro-mobility project manager at York University, he helps partner automakers with continued testing, development, and improvement of their innovative mobility prototypes on an ongoing basis in YorkU's living lab. In addition, he has recently founded Telebotics, to develop an autonomous last-mile delivery solution for local retailers. He leads the product development team and helps with identification of customers' needs, ideation, prototyping, market testing and validation. He is an active volunteer member of several professional organizations & global standard initiatives. He is the chair of the Government Liaison Program(Elected, Volunteer) at Professional Engineers of Ontario (ETC), a founding member of TM University Engineering Toastmaster club, a Member of the Standard Council of Canada, the Canadian delegate to the International Standard Organization (ISO/TC 307) & member of YorkU's Continuing Studies Advisory Council.
