Bio

I am a PhD in Civil Engineering for the Escola Tècnica Superior d'Enginyers de Camins, Canals i Ports de Barcelona (ETSCCPB) at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC). I began my PhD studies at CIMNE on April 2011 within the CIMNE/LSSC group. Currently, I am a Postdoctoral Associate at Duke University, within the Computational Fluid Solid Dynamics group in the Civil Engineering department. During my PhD I have also been assisstant professor at the Escola d'Enginyeria de Telecomunicació i Aerospacial de Castelldefels (EETAC) at UPC, where I teached Structures and Material Strength course. Althought that my main interest is focused on the computational engineering, particularly the computational fluid dynamics field, I do not mind to recognize that structural engineering is one of the topics that also fascinates me.
