I'm the CEO, founder of Aiven, a fast growing company turning the best open source data technologies (like Apache Kafka) into managed cloud services on all public clouds. Our cloud-native solutions allow businesses of all kind to focus on delivering customer value while we take care of their data infrastructure. We've raised $400m from investors in Silicon Valley (IVP, WiL) and Europe (Eurazeo, Atomico, Earlybird, Lifeline) and are scaling Aiven on four continents with hubs in Helsinki, Berlin, Boston, Toronto, Sydney, Singapore and Tokyo. Prior to founding Aiven I worked directly and in consulting engagements with various organizations in the Nordics on software infrastructure ranging from database scalability to network security and private cloud implementations.
