At Expon Capital, I'm part of a global, multi-stage team investing across sectors in service of positive impact. I spend time on deep tech, energy & industry, and the circular economy. I cover sourcing and origination, analysis and due diligence, deal negotiation and closing, as well as board management. Before Expon, I was briefly trained by impact investment teams in the US, including Kauffman Fellows, fellow-Booth Alumni, and an Omidyar Group fund focused on energy tech and Agtech. In a past life, I was an energy economist within the US Department of Energy, where I monitored and wrote regulations for the US pipeline network and the electric grid. I originally started my entrepreneurial journey teaching business classes in the US Peace Corps in Nicaragua. I co-founded a sustainable construction company in Peru while volunteering for my (now wife's) 23-time award-winning environmental film on Netflix, When Two Worlds Collide. I'm always happy to learn about your startup if it fits with our thesis here at Expon Capital: https://www.exponcapital.com/manifesto/ Feel free to send me a pitch deck at reynolds@exponcapital.com
