Think about a puzzle with different pieces completing each others to make the overall picture...that's me! It is challenging to define myself in few lines, but I love challenges, so let's start by first passion: language - since I was a child I've always been fascinated by languages and communication, and my curiousity led me to deeply study the way people learn and use language (semantics, pragmatics, textual architecture are among the main disciplines I focused on). The perfect right brain to my left brain is represented by computer science and maths, my second passion. Historically, these worlds have always been considered separated, but things changed over time and language understanding combined with computer science is now a reality: Natural Language Processing/Understanding and Intelligent Automation. There's a third dimension completing the picture: the idea of the journey, the base of my life is indeed travelling and my fuel is the change and innovation. So which industry better than insurance represents the transformation? I'm passionate about guiding insurance and reinsurance companies thorugh their digital transformation journey by applying intelligent automation. At expert.ai I lead the insurance practice, which is the market segment that over the past years grew the most. I'm responsible for: My goal is to drive the success of Insurance companies in their use of AI technologies. • Responsible for the growth and success of our Insurance Industry Practice • Responsible and accountable for achieving practice area revenue goals • Develop market specific development plans and tactics to create a robust pipeline of value for clients and prospects • Define and implement overall Insurance Industry practice strategy and go-to-market plans. • Cross functional leadership in support of strategic growth objectives. • Evangelize and present insightful analysis to C-level executives which helps them extract value from data through AI. • Lead relationships with strategic clients and C-level executives to deliver unique insights and advice. • Listen to clients and market participants to identify and cultivate ideas to fuel the growth of the practice and product. My next challenge? Deploy so many scalable and adopted AI applications for insurers to contribute to make insurance the most innovative market in the upcoming years.
