The agence Patrick Jouin was started by Patrick in 1998. Growing out of Patrick’s love and passion for furniture, the studio started out focusing on primarily on product design. Thoroughly grounded in a desire to make extraordinary modern experiences, it didn’t take long before the studio expanded to include interiors + full scale architectural projects as clients wanted a translation of Patrick’s unique sensibilities on larger scale projects. The ability and experience to execute projects at different scales has translated into a body of work where the traditional lines between design disciplines are erased. Interiors do not stop at walls but incorporate custom made furnishings. Architecture does not stop at a door but incorporates bespoke door handles as well as plates, cutlery, light fixtures etc. The experience gained from current and past projects has given Patrick and the studio an expertise in an unusually broad range of construction techniques from the traditional hand made to cutting edge high tech. The ability to utilize these techniques intelligently has allowed Patrick to continually evolve his ideas seeking loftier goals. This knowledge also allows for an array of construction + fabrication options that ensure that the end projects are always unique but also cost + time effective.
