Bio

Patrick is an executive with over 35 years’ experience in banking, advanced technology, architecture, systems development, and management consulting. Patrick is responsible for Bank User Solutions within the Credit Suisse Group, covering a broad range of services such as End User technology, Retention and Records Management Platforms, Corporate and HR IT, all Support Channels and the infrastructure of Credit Suisse branch offices globally. Before Credit Suisse he was groups CTO and Head of Strategy & Planning of the Technology, Services & Operations division at Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited (ANZ). He has worked with many companies across Europe, Asia, Australia and North America, including Bankers Trust Alex Brown, start-up investment bank WIT Capital, Rabobank International, IBM, HCL Technologies and Axa amongst others. Patrick is equally passionate about technology and inspiring his teams to achieve shared success and the satisfaction and rewards that accompany it. He has spoken extensively at international conferences on financial services topics including technology, strategy, and innovation, and has delivered guest lectures to a number of universities. He is an Enterprise Professor in the Engineering School of Melbourne University, Chairman of the European Banking Federation Cloud Forum & Expert Group and Executive Board Member of the industry-led SWIPO organization promoting data portability in the cloud. He is married with five children, and his interests include gastronomy, wine, gardening, and fly fishing when he can make time.
