An advocate for driving transformational change across the Department of Defense and Intelligence Community (DOD|IC) and the USGOVT in whole. Personally believe that Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) and Secure Service Edge (SSE) are the foundational aspects to moving Government agencies to a security architecture that can pivot and adapt to the dynamic threat landscape while positioning leaders with a manageable environment and actionable intelligence to maintain the competitive advantage. Recently retiring from the Army as a Signal Corps Chief Warrant Officer Four after nearly 22 years of service, spending the last 15 years with the U.S. Special Operations community. Throughout my career, I have served as the Chief Technical Advisor to senior military leaders as well as performed multiple global and deployed network and security engineer positions. During the last quarter of my career, I specialized in developing innovative and emerging technology solutions to both strategic and tactical missions globally. My education is a combination of degrees from the University of Oklahoma and University of Maryland University College, as well as industry certifications including 2 x CISCO Certified Internet Expert (CCIE) and a CISSP. Most importantly I believe in work/life/quality balance and do so with being married to a career Army Signal Officer currently serving on active duty with our five children.
