Paul Misener is the Founder and Principal of Misener Innovation LLC, a consultancy dedicated to helping organizations to innovate, advocate, and communicate their culture, processes, and products/services. Paul was an Amazon global VP for nearly 23 years, most recently Amazon.com’s Vice President for Global Innovation Policy. Paul holds a 1985 BSE in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Princeton, and a 1993 JD from George Mason, where he received the Distinguished Achievement Award in 2001. Paul established, built, and led Amazon’s global public policy organization from 2000 to 2016. He has testified before the US Congress over 30 times, and many dozens of times before policymaking bodies around the world. Paul began his career representing the US in global telecom policy negotiations, and has visited over 60 countries on six continents. He was a DC law firm partner and a manager for Intel. Paul serves on the boards of the Smithsonian’s Libraries and Archives, the Northern Virginia Chamber of Commerce, the Northern Virginia Technology Council, and on the GMU President’s Innovation Advisory Council.
