I am a chartered Civil Engineer, Programme leader and key account leadership professional, passionate about creating and enabling transformational change for major programmes and client accounts to bring about better business and end customer outcomes. I have almost 20 years experience in infrastructure mainly Road and Rail in public sector and local government (UK and Overseas) which has given me the opportunity to build depth to my technical and commercial knowledge. I enjoy the highways industry tremendously and have contributed to multiple SRN/MRN projects, from visioning to planning and feasibility as well as pre-contract phase in shaping multi-phased tenders. I am currently Key Account Director for National Highways for Costain Group PLC, part of the Highways sector Senior Leadership Team across contracting and consulting. I hold business plan delivery ownership for a £1bn account, people and line management responsibilities and customer/collaborative performance and business targets. Previously I worked for 17 years in Consulting holding senior leadership positions including Regional Director for Highways Consultancy in London and SE Region for Arcadis where I developed and created numerous new client accounts and revenue streams for the company as well as leading major programme delivery. I have practical experience of contributing to P&L with strategic pipeline planning to balancing revenue against profit & margins. I have a passion to continue to improve operations through practical methods such as data intelligence, standardisation and lean methods to deliver efficiency for end customer. I am a passionate trustee of a STEM charity, a board member and Social value advocate and have huge regard for effective organisational development. I work to bring P13 principals to all aspects of the business lifecycle and strive to embed Equality, Diversity and Inclusion including actively driving staff development and growth.
