I am the global head of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) for Sage, who are a multinational tech company. I am also a screenwriter and I am also asked to edit scripts where the producers want to make sure that any elements of diversity, equity, or inclusion are depicted accurately, and want to avoid accusations of tokenism or virtue signalling.
