Responsible for METACO product planning and lifecycle execution inclusive of gathering and prioritizing client and industry requirements; developing, defining, and overseeing the product’s roadmap; managing backlog and priorities; and collaborating across business solutions, engineering, marketing, sales, solutions delivery and operations such that product strategy and goals are supported and do not deviate from those of the business. Peter also is responsible for METACO’s digital asset consultative and advisory services to leading financial service institutions and other enterprises on how METACO Harmonize helps develop their digital asset product offerings. Peter serves as a trusted advisor to C-level execs and business leaders across segments as they work on the difficult challenge of bringing digital adoption to their organizations. Peter previously started and led, as the global head o,f digital asset custody infrastructure while at IBM four years. Peter was responsible for increasing adoption of IBM’s confidential computing implementation, identifying new market opportunities, informing the direction of IBM products and services, and driving revenue for end-to-end digital asset transaction processing and custody solutions with an ecosystem of VASPs, protocols, and custody technology platforms. While at IBM, Peter patented 2 inventions with blockchain wallets and quantum-safe, offline cloud cold storage. Peter is certified design thinking facilitator and patent holder for hardened, policy based crypto transaction signing. Before blockchain, Peter was the practice leader for Enterprise Architecture, including the division’s large scale software development efforts and IT strategy consulting for US Federal clients including the Federal Aviation Administration, Federal Depository and Trust Corporation, Department of Defense, and Department of Homeland Security. He was also a contributing author to the enterprise architecture publication: Coherency Management: Architecting the Enterprise for Alignment, Agility and Assurance (2009).
