Mr. Espig is a senior business executive with proven track record in public and private companies throughout North America, Europe, and Asia. His background in private equity, distressed turnaround, including the turnaround of mining companies, leveraged finance and principal finance has been instrumental to his success in corporate restructuring and turnaround. His creative capacity and background have allowed him to actively lead companies through distress to success, while holding management and board positions. In addition to having successfully restructured companies in various industries, his career as an investment banker includes structuring, syndication and fund raising for transactions in NYC, Tokyo, Shanghai, Seoul, Taipei, Vancouver, and Singapore. As a pioneer in SPACs, he was able to complete two transactions, including Star Bulk Carriers, and advised on several cross border business amalgamations.
