After a financial oriented study I've subsequently worked in a couple of management consultancy firms, in which I learned the trade of information strategy and implementation. After that I moved towards knowledge management and worked in the professional services environment, healthcare and (semi)government sectors. In 2008 I changed my perspective from the Netherlands toward the Northern European countries and started the Nordic office of I.R.I.S.. After 5 years in Norway with implementation projects mostly regarding Document Management (DM) / Enterprise Content Management (ECM) in the professional services market (mostly law firms and accountancy) I have started in the summer of 2014 at law firm Simonsen Vogt Wiig first as IT and Knowledge Manager and now as Chief Digital Officer. Besides my jobb as CDO at Simonsen Vogt Wiig I am interested in digitalization and the effects on the legal industry and therefore I participate in various organizations and events focusing in this, like Nordic Legal Tech Hub (as board member) and TechTorget (as initiative taker).
