Experienced Managing Director at Balfour Beatty responsible for all major highways schemes in the UK. A civil and structural engineer with 26 years’ experience in the industry. Starting out as a graduate engineer in the early nineties, I have gained valuable management and experience working on various large, complex multi-disciplinary highways schemes including the M25 widening J12-15, A421 improvements M1 J13 to Bedford, A3 Hindhead improvements and M3 J2-4a improvements. My leadership experience includes transformation of the Highways business to be a customer, supplier and stakeholder centric organisation. Strong professional skilled in design management and construction, and a champion on how innovation, digital and new ways of working could deliver value to our customers. Highly collaborative across all partners to align and achieve valued outcomes that benefit all including the communities in which we work.
