Bio

Philipp joined AWS in January 2019, from Gartner Consulting, where he was a Managing Partner. Before that, he was General Manager for the Public Sector at DXC Technology in Central Europe. He has been a professor at Willy-Brandt-School of Public Policy, University of Erfurt, Dean of the Business School of Salzburg University, and Director of the Public Management Program at Tec de Monterrey. He is a public speaker and the author of three books and articles on the interplay of technology, strategy, and leadership. He has a PhD from Ludwig-Maximilians-University, was a research fellow at the Harvard University, and holds a visiting professorship at Donau-Uni Krems.
