As Chief Executive Officer of Julius Baer, I am proud to be at the helm of the leading Swiss wealth management group, with 130 years of history and a presence in over 60 locations worldwide. With successful growth over the past decade, Julius Baer has defined pure wealth management, and it is our aim to become the most reputable and admired wealth manager in the industry. Our current strategy combines our entrepreneurial spirit and an unmatched ability to connect with clients to drive the modernisation of our organisation, sharpen our value proposition and shift our leadership focus to sustainable profit growth. I started my career at Julius Baer in 2004 and have been fortunate to work with exceptional colleagues ever since, from the trading floor, where I developed structured investment solutions for our clients, to the advisory engine of the Bank, which integrates some core elements of our holistic wealth offering, such as research, investment advisory and wealth planning. I am a passionate individual who is driven by curiosity. The long-term trends in technology and society – digital disruption, artificial intelligence, future healthcare, the rise of emerging markets and the quest for a more sustainable economy - are my greatest interests. They are what will shape the life of future generations, including my two children. Outside of work, I enjoy music, skiing and my motorbike, as well as helping my community in any way I can.
