I have over 25 years of experience in the utility industry, starting as a software engineer in research & development, solidifying my managerial skills by running a complete manufacturing facility that supplied products globally, extending those operations by standing up and leading a services and software business, and ultimately running a diverse $50M business as the managing director of the Sub-Sahara division for water and electricity metering. Following that, I relocated from South Africa to the United Kingdom to further hone my global strategic thinking skills, leading a $700M global electricity product line management organization. Relocating to France, my focus shifted to advancing my customer-focussed competencies in sales and business. Currently I am based in France, leading business development and proposal management for EMEA and Asia Pacific. My key competencies include strategic business and market leadership coupled with innovative lateral thinking and grounded by global, cross-functional managerial experience.
