Spanish lawyer-turned-entrepreneur fluent in Portuguese and English with 12+ years of experience in international business law practice in the main financial hubs of the world socially committed to making an impact in the legal sector. Before co-founding Valencia-based legal tech startup Bounsel, I joined the team of an insurtech startup as Legal Counsel. Previously I worked at Spanish leading law firm Cuatrecasas within its highly competitive Pro-International Advocacy Program (PPAI), reserved for top young lawyers for their excellent academic record and passion for international law practice to rotate within different areas and offices, later pursue an LL.M. and work in a US law firm. During this elite program, I gained professional experience in International Arbitration, Corporate and Tax in Madrid, Sao Paulo and Barcelona by participating in major cross-border M&A transactions involving private equity firms and multimillion international commercial arbitrations. After completing my LL.M. at prestigious Ivy League Columbia University, I worked in New York City at highly-specialized international dispute resolution boutique Chaffetz Lindsey. During this journey I drafted and negotiated thousands of contracts! 5+ years expat in New York and Brazil and now as a legal tech founder and entrepreneur I am the mum of two wonderful baby boys happily based in hometown Valencia, where I also serve as seed board advisor to Startup Valencia, as co-organizer of Valencia Legal Hackers and as board member at Fundación Mutualidad Abogacía, fostering innovation and the use of technology in the legal sector.
