Professor Shane Hearn is a respected and proud Noongar man born in Esperance, Western Australia. Professor Hearn has a distinguished record in the field of higher education and demonstrated leadership in research, scholarship, and management. He is a thought leader, systems thinker with extensive experience in transforming organisations to being more effective with administering Indigenous operations to impact and empower all. He has outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with all stakeholders and mentor others. He is proficient in designing high level strategies, problem solving, data analysis, relationship management (sensitively, empathy, fairness, and humility), feedback and coaching and a delivery mind-set (''can do'' attitude).
