Organizations depend on alignment between the overall company vision/strategy, down to the overall employee base to ensure that the entire company is marching toward the same goal. One band, one song. While alignment is important and cannot be de-emphasized, we sometimes lose focus on an aspect of an organizational construct that is just as, if not more important: resonance. Similar to how individuals are unique against their peers, so too are various lines of businesses against each other. And while it is important for an individual or even an line of business to understand how it aligns to the overall company's objective, it is imperative that they also feel a keen resonance on a daily basis on how they contribute to that objectives. For it is in that resonance, that the hearts and minds of each employee, and each line of business, perform to the fullest extent possible in achieving the visions outlined in a company's strategy. I thrive in utilizing my skill-sets acquired from working in management consulting, mixed with my experiences in running large-scale operations, to develop and implement high performing operational models that create both organizational alignment AND day-to-day resonance in executing operational excellence and transformational improvements.
