Venture Capitalist in the Consumer Internet industry lucky enough to have been able to work with great companies such as Zalando, HelloFresh, Quandoo, Home24, Stylight, Outfittery, Scalable Capital, Alasco, finn.auto, Dance and many others. Always looking for the next great companies to join those above. HV's strategy is to back teams/ companies very early as the first institutional investor (ticket typically between €0,5-2M) and then accompany them all the way (HV total investment into one company up to €40M). With our new Fund VIII, we can also do entry tickets at Series B/C stage. Academic background with a Dipl.Ing. (Msc. equivalent) in engineering from TU Muenchen (with aster thesis done at Bell Labs/ Lucent Technologies in the US) and an MBA from INSEAD. Interest aside from family (#1) and work: too many...mountaineering, ski, surf, windsurf, triathlon, etc
