I started off my career in strategy consulting with FTSE 100 companies, working within Sir Martin Sorrell’s WPP Group in London. I then moved to James Caan’s private equity firm, Hamilton Bradshaw, where I began consulting on the commodities markets. I relocated to Houston in 2014 to found a human capital consultancy within Sir Peter Ogden’s portfolio at Spencer Ogden. Here I oversaw the buildout of various commercial energy businesses into emerging markets across the Americas with a niche focus on Latin American countries. In 2016, I transitioned into the commodities industry and joined BioUrja Trading in Mexico City to manage the company’s implementation strategy across trading and origination in Mexico and further into Latin America. The advent of the Mexican Energy Reform was pivotal to this move as it presented an opportunity to play an integral role in the new deregulated market. In 2019, I founded Indimex Group in the advent of the Energy Reform in Mexico. The company focuses on the marketing and trading of crude and petroleum products including LPGs and crude blends across The Americas. The entity manages the distribution of fuel through rail, vessel and trucking. Indimex Group runs the gamut on managing the logistics for all modes of transportation as well as managing physical assets which plays into the trading and optimization of the fuel. The Group is involved in all stages of the downstream supply chain including rail car, barge and truck leasing, purchasing of product at origin and marketing at destination as well as hedging strategies to limit losses in cross-border transactions. -- I am fluent in Spanish and Italian with beginners Portuguese and incredibly passionate about Latin America. A long term ambition is to assist the region in building sustainable and successful organizations that will also promote local social enterprise.
